About our products

As well as being exceptionally soft, linen's natural long fibres help to regulate your body temperature as you sleep with its breathability and high moisture absorbency. It's also perfectly weighted which helps to ease you into a wonderful deep sleep.

Linen is perfect for every season - fresh in the summer and warm in the winter. Another great quality of linen bedding is that it gets softer and softer with wear.

The production of linen is very sustainable as every part of the flax plant can be used. It is a rotation crop, farmed naturally in small batches.

Our linens are sourced in France and sewn in China. We then package and ship your orders from our converted barn in West Sussex.

There Is a common misconception that linen Is a tricky fabric to care for but It Is actually very durable and low maintenance.

Linen Is a natural fabric that becomes softer and more absorbent with use (which is why we are such big fans) and Is a breeze to care for. Here are a few pointers to help you make your linens last.


Linen can be machine washed as well as hand washed. Dry cleaning is not recommended, however.

  • Wash on a warm gentle cycle. A 40 degree wash is perfect for removing dirt and natural body oils, dissolving washing detergent as well as being eco-friendly.
  • An extra rinse will ensure that any powder residue Is removed as this can deteriorate linen fibres affecting their longevity.
  • Use a mild detergent and skip the fabric softener. Linen softens dramatically over time so no need to add softener.


Air drying Is best but can leave your bedding feeling a touch stiff at first. To remedy this, we recommend a combination of line and machine drying. Stick your bedding In to the dryer for 10 minutes to soften, then hang on the line or spread flat whilst still damp to allow gravity to get rid of wrinkles.

Please note that linen dries faster than cotton so adjust tumble drier times accordingly to avoid scorching.


At Piglet we love the effortless, elegant texture of natural linen, however, they can be ironed whilst damp with a medium-hot iron, or steamed.

Stain Removal:

We strongly advise trying to tackle any stains as soon as possible by sprinkling with baking soda and adding a few drops of vinegar then blotting (not scrubbing). Bleaching Is not recommended as It breaks down fabric fibres.

The 3 key ingredients are:

  • Chamomile - Soothing and floral.
  • Frankincense - Calming and relaxing. Relieves anxiety and chronic stress. Removes negative energy in the body and environment, making it a great oil to use in the bedroom before bed. Good for meditation and promoting enlightenment.
  • Lavender - Ultra calming and floral. Alleviates anxiety, stress and depression.

Generously mist throughout the air and onto linens and pillows to enjoy the therapeutic benefits of the essential oils. Always test first when spraying onto fabrics.

To maintain your product, keep out of direct sunlight, at a room temperature or below, and away from moisture. Products have a shelf life of six to twelve months after opening, and a shelf life of around two years after production.

Keep out of children’s reach. Do not drink. In case of eye contact, rinse well.

About our shipping, returns & exchanges

Orders over £40 are shipped for FREE within the UK from our base in West Sussex. Orders should be dispatched within 4 working days with DPD next day delivery.

International deliveries are dispatched within 4 working days by DHL or one of our other international couriers. Please note that duties may apply on international deliveries.

We know that reducing plastic waste is as important to you as it is to us. So we use recyclable materials across all of our packaging wherever possible.

Typically your order is wrapped in string and packed in a linen drawstring bag. It's then wrapped in brown paper and popped into a cardboard box ready to be shipped to your doorstep.

Returns and exchanges are super simple and free with Collect+

To take advantage of our free returns, you'll need access to a printer. Follow the easy steps and you'll have a label generated, ready to print, attach it to your box/package, and take it along to your nearest Collect+ drop-off location.

NOTE: We're currently unable to offer the print-in-store service.

Our policy lasts 90 days. If 90 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

Monogrammed items cannot be returned.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a few days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Pending: These points are need to be verified before you can redeem them. This typically applies to purchases and referrals
