It's an exciting time at Piglet in Bed as we begin launching in department stores throughout 2023! We're looking for full time Concession Managers and part time Team Members in various UK locations.
Concession Managers
• You’ll be working independently in store; ensuring all minimum brand standards are achieved as well as creating a first class customer experience. You’ll ensure your team are trained and empowered to do this too.
• You’ll work closely with our Retail Operations Manager to build your role and team, as well as influencing the Piglet retail experience in one of our first physical stores.
• Communication is integral to this role; you’ll be liaising both with our ROM and with teams across the business to ensure a consistent customer experience. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the in-store team are fully in the loop on company updates, and feel empowered to share updates and insights of their own. You’ll also be our key link with the host store, helping us to build a strong and collaborative relationship.
• You’ll become an expert on our product range, engaging with shoppers to answer queries, give advice and share inspiration.
• You’ll familarise yourself with the brand story and deliver consistently on brand guidelines.
• You’ll embody the Piglet brand, and make our customers feel at home within our concessions, and excited to buy into the brand.
• You’ll lead the concession team, ensuring everyone feels valued and supported.
• You’ll be responsible for spotting trends and driving continuous improvements; helping us learn more about our in store shoppers, and adapt accordingly.
• You’ll be responsible for our physical space; both delivering on brand visual guidelines and ensuring cleanliness and health and safety requirements are met.
• You’ll maximise sales and drive profitability through strong commercial management, alongside controlling costs.
Who we're looking for
• You’ll need to be a real people person; the kind to put a smile on shoppers’ faces, even if they don’t make a purchase.
• You’ll also need to have supervisory experience and be a great people manager; leading by example.
• You’ll need to be self motivated; a great deal of this role will be working independently.
• Communication is essential in this role, as a distributed team, we need to ensure information and ideas are free flowing.
• You’ll have a passion for interior design and homewares. We love playful colours and creating bold combinations to suit individual tastes. We’re looking for someone who can listen to shoppers and confidently make product suggestions.
• We’re looking for someone analytical, self critical and creative. You’ll have a front row seat to spot trends amongst our in store shoppers; both who they are (or aren’t!) and how they shop, and you’re likely to be best placed to share ideas on what we could do better.
