If you are able to peel yourself away from the barn for the day, the local area has lots to offer for any kind of traveller. The quintessentially British town of Lewes is only a ten minute drive away and perfect for some window shopping or spending the afternoon in a rural pub garden. If you’re looking to soak up the natural beauty of the surrounding hills, there are a number of the hiking trails and National Trust pathways in the immediate vicinity, with wild swimming spots and places to horse ride also on your doorstep.
